Directions

    Turkey Bacon Onion Jam

  1. 1. Add onions and oil to a hot pan over medium heat. Allow to cook for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Stir in thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Chop the turkey bacon and add to the onions. Cook for 5 minutes and stir occasionally.
  4. 4. Stir in balsamic and hot honey. Cook for 4 minutes.
  5. 5. Add sugar and cook for 5 minutes, stirring.
  6. 6. Spread onto a sheet tray and allow it to cool.

  1. 1. Thoroughly mix everything together in a bowl.

Brioche Bun

    Pimento & Tukey Bacon Jam Smashburger

  1. 1. Toast brioche bun; set aside.
  2. 2. Take the Homestyle Savory White Turkey Burger and divide it in half. Roll each half into a ball shape.
  3. 3. On a hot, oiled griddle, place the turkey meatballs onto the griddle - cook for 1 minute.
  4. 4. Flip onto the other side using a large metal spatula and press down to smash.
  5. 5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the patties are golden brown and release from the griddle.
  6. 6. Flip onto the other side and cook for another 30 seconds - 1 minute. Remove from the griddle.
  7. 7. To assemble, spread turkey bacon onion jam on the heel of the bun.
  8. 8. Place the turkey patty and top and spread the patty with pimento cheese.
  9. 9. Add the remaining turkey patty on top. Spread the turkey bacon onion jam onto the patty.
  10. 10. Place the crown on top to finish.
