Shanghai Turkey Meatballs

*Shanghai Sauce

2 tbsp. Peanut oil
1 tbsp. Sesame oil
2 tbsp. Garlic, minced
2 qt. Plum sauce
½ cup Oyster sauce
¼ cup Hoisin sauce
2 cups Sweet chili sauce
½ cup Chili garlic sauce
2 tbsp. Fresh ginger, peeled & minced
¼ cup Rice wine
¾ cup Teriyaki sauce

To Prepare:

  1. Heat peanut and sesame oils in the saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté until the aroma of the garlic fills the air.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Label, date and refrigerate.
  5. Place in a storage container with lid.

10 lb. Turkey meatballs
3 qt. Shanghai Sauce*

Directions

  1. Combine sauce and meatballs and marinate for 24 hours.
  2. Heat for service.
  3. Serve.
