How to Prepare Turkey Breakfast Meats

Turkey Bacon:

  • On a flat-top grill or skillet: Cook at 325°F (medium heat) for 4–6 minutes, turning a few times for desired crispness.
  • In a convection oven: Cook on parchment paper at 350°F for 4–6 minutes, or until desired crispness is reached.

Fully Cooked Turkey Bacon:

  • Simply serve as-is out of the package, or quickly heat on a grill, griddle or in the microwave.
  • In the microwave: Place 4 strips in a folded paper towel and microwave on high for 25 seconds.

Sausage Links:

  • On a grill or griddle: Cook frozen links on medium heat, turning frequently for even browning and to ensure a proper internal temperature of 165˚F.
  • In the oven: Place links on a sprayed pan in an oven preheated to 400˚F. Cook 14–16 minutes or to an internal temperature of 165˚F. Turn the links halfway through the cooking cycle to ensure even browning.

Fully Cooked Sausage Links:

  • From frozen:
    • Griddle: 375˚F for 15 minutes, turn at 8 minutes.
    • Convection Oven: 375˚F for 6 minutes.
    • Conventional Oven: 375˚F for 14 minutes.
  • From refrigerated:
    • Griddle: 375˚F for 7 minutes, turn at 4 minutes.
    • Convection Oven: 375˚F for 4 ½ minutes.
    • Conventional Oven: 375˚F for 8 minutes.

Sausage Patties:

  • On a grill or griddle: Cook frozen patties on medium heat, turning halfway through the cooking cycle for even browning and to ensure a proper internal temperature of 165˚F.
  • In the oven: Place patties on a sprayed pan in an oven preheated to 400˚F. Cook 12–14 minutes or to an internal temperature of 165˚F. Turn the patties halfway through the cooking cycle to ensure even browning.
