BLT Mega Turkey Burger
Double the burgers, double the yum. Accented with chipotle mayo, this mega-sized burger is a delicious dinner or lunch solution. Serve with Mexican coleslaw or chipotle-dusted fries for a real kick in the taste buds
||Chipotle in adobo, chopped
||Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Combine all ingredients and blend well.
- Place into a covered container; label and date.
- Allow sauce to marinate at least 2 hours under refrigeration before using.
||All Natural Turkey Thigh Burger - 6oz, cooked and hot
||Buttered and toasted onion roll
||Red onion, sliced, 1/8'' thick
||Tomato, sliced, 1/4'' thick
||Bacon (turkey or pork)
||Jalapeño popper stuffed with Texas pimento beer cheese, wrapped in bacon
- Top one cooked turkey burger with a slice of Cheddar and the other turkey burger with a slice of Jack cheese. Melt the cheeses over the burgers.
- To build burger:
- Start with toasted bottom roll
- Spread 1 tbsp. Chipotle mayo on bottom roll
- Add shredded lettuce
- Add sliced red onion
- Add sliced tomato
- Add 2 turkey burgers with melted cheeses
- Break 2 slices of bacon in half and arrange on top of cheese
- Spread 1 tbsp. Sriracha mayo on toasted top roll
- Top with jalapeño popper wrapped in bacon; skewer to hold in place
